The crown chakra sits on the top of the head, once where your soft spot as a baby was; now this place is your connection to the Divine. The crown chakra is often seen as an ultraviolet or white color. It is the most pure of all the colors of the chakras. In Sanskrit this chakra is called the sahasrara. Often this chakra is depicted as a lotus flower opening up from the top of the head and that is because it is through this chakra that we are able to connect to a higher life force or connect to the spiritual life in the world.
Many healers talk about tears or punctures in your aura. The aura is the energy body that is just outside of your physical form. When there are tears or other damage to your aura this can cause physical disease and other problems in your body. Often these tears can be traced back to issues in your chakra system.
There are seven main chakras; each is connected to a part of the body, a color, a sound, and specific emotional or developmental patterns. The first of the main chakras in your body starts at the base of your spine. This chakra is a red ball of energy and is called the root, or base, chakra. The energy will then flow up to your second chakra; which is orange in color. This chakra is called the sacral chakra. Next is the solar plexus; which is a yellow ball of energy. Moving up is the heart chakra; which is green. The throat chakra is next and it is blue; followed by the violet third eye chakra. Finally the crown chakra on the top of the head is white.
The energy starts at the base of the spine and snakes it way up the body until it reaches the top of the head. At the top of the head it will fountain out and join with the auric body; forming an energetic shell around the human body. When the chakras are all functioning properly without blockages this energy flows free and easily, but when there are blocks the energy can get stuck or worse; cause damage to the aura.
The more people that take on doing this work, the more healing that will come to the planet. We are each a creation of the planet. We are all connected, not only to the earth but, to each other. When we reach out and acknowledge those connections they get stronger. Stronger connections will allow the planet as a whole to move to cleansing, healing, and wholeness.
The planet is moving, ever faster, towards serious change. By tapping into this energy you can help manifest positive change in the world. Every person moving in a positive direction can chance the entire planet for the better.
